FAQ

Got Questions?

Let us put your mind at ease!

  • Are there any side effects?

Side effects are rare and usually minor. Some side effects may include: Bruising at the injection site and possible soreness, cooling sensation in the arm as fluid moves through it, metallic taste in the mouth from the vitamins, or a brief "flushed feeling."

Less common side effects include a risk of infection and or an allergic reaction to the therapy; however, we take numerous precautions to prevent such instances from occurring even though they are typically short-lived and very treatable.

  • Is IV therapy safe?

IV Therapy is generally safe for most people because you are not receiving anything you couldn't take orally.

Our formulas are NOT considered treatments for any medical condition or disease, but rather are supportive for the body to function optimally.

The difference with IV Vitamin Therapy vs. Oral vitamins is how they are absorbed, the purity and quality of the vitamin, plus the effectiveness of receiving 100% of what is given, unlike oral vitamins.

Before any therapy, all clients fill out a medical history form, have his/her vitals taken, and do a brief exam with our doctor.

All therapies are administered by medical professionals licensed in California. Reputable pharmaceutical companies compound our formulas under the strictest FDA regulations. Our formulas are also free of fillers or dyes and the highest quality available, unlike most vitamin supplements or energy drinks.

  • Is IV therapy effective?

Absolutely! IV Vitamin therapy delivers essential nutrients, antioxidants, amino acids and other ingredients directly to your bloodstream where they can be utilized by your body immediately.

If you haven't had IV Therapy before or have been depleted for a while, it may take 2-4 IV sessions before you feel completely replenished, but most people will feel better in general after their first therapy.

  • Is it painful?

Everyone's pain tolerance is different, but your comfort is our priority!

To help lessen any discomfort, we use a much smaller needle than those used for blood draws or in hospitals.

We also use catheters that are soft and flexible allowing freedom of movement during infusion.

Most people rarely feel anything during the IV administration due to the catheters small size and flexibility.

Our Naturopath, Dr. Ha Dang, has over 16 years of experience administering IV's on some of the most challenging patients so you can rest assured you are in good hands!

  • How often can I get IV therapy?

If you are healthy, they are safe to get daily; however, most people don't put such demands on their bodies where they need daily IVs. We recommend weekly supplementation to see the best results. Still, it depends on your current health, ability to hydrate effectively, and overall metabolic needs. We customize formulas for the maximum benefit to each client.

  • Why choose IV Therapy over oral supplementation or food?

Oral supplements and food need to be broken down in the stomach to be utilized by the body; this process can take hours and what is eventually absorbed is typically less than 25% of the value due to quality, compromised stomach lining, as well as other factors, such as age, DNA, medical history, and metabolism.

Our formulas, whether IV or IM, are of the highest quality available. When you choose IV therapy for your vitamin supplementation, you are getting a higher concentration of vitamins, antioxidants and essential nutrients in the most efficient and effective delivery system possible.

  • Can I receive IV therapy during pregnancy?

We advise pregnant women to consult with their OB/GYN doctor first and get a written order for what is needed. IV therapy can be used to effectively handle vitamin deficiency, dehydration, nausea, and morning sickness.

  • Do you bill insurance?

No, we do not at this time; however, we accept HSA payments that are the same as cash.

  • Can I book an appointment with a friend?

Absolutely, if there is a slot available before or after your appointment time then we can see you at the same time.

Booking windows are every 15 minutes because we have one administrator, but your IV will be administered within minutes of each other if you come together.

For more than 2 people we ask that you call so we can reserve adequate time to accommodate you all!
